Following the folk traditions of our Ancestors , we have chosen herbs that have been used in ancient teachings to help protect and comfort you throughout the winter

Yule marks the Winter Solstice, the rebirth of the Sun-God, the Life in Death aspect of the Goddess and the vanquishing of the Holly King.

Walnut Leaves & Pine Needles are blended with Mistletoe Leaf, Cinnamon, Clove Buds and Sencha to give the benefit of thousands of years of tradition in Druid, Native American and Celtic traditions.

• Pine – Druids used to light large bonfires of Scots pine at the winter solstice. This was to celebrate the passing of the seasons and to draw back the sun. Glades of Scots pines were also decorated with lights and shiny objects. The tree covered in stars was a representation of the Divine Light. It is easy to see how these rituals have given rise to the latter day Yule log and Christmas tree customs.
• Mistletoe is an ancient herb of Protection and Sacred to the Druids and Ancient Celtic Witches. We use it in our Yule blend for its removal of negative energies and the luck it will bring. It also known to help with pain relief and provides a boost to the immune system. Mistletoe growing on oak trees is the most sacred form of the plant and offers protection from all evil, as well as being the source of much magic.
• Walnut Leaf – Tea can be made from the leaves and is said to be excellent for digestion which is perfect after feasting. used in rituals regaining Health, Mental Powers, Infertility, and granting wishes.
• Sencha – A complex flavor that has a refreshing overall taste it’s our favourite. is made from tea leaves that are steamed, rolled and then dried. The end result is a crisp and bright tea that is a joy to drink any time. It provides the base for our Yule infusion.
